Xena Health is a transparent cash-pay clinic. Here's how our pricing model works, the value it delivers, and how it differs from insurance-driven care — with answers to the questions we hear most.
We're a cash-pay (direct-pay) clinic — we don't bill insurance for visits or treatment. Instead, every price is published up front on our pricing page, so you always know the cost before you commit. No copays at the desk, no surprise statements weeks later.
What you're paying for is the part insurance squeezes out: unhurried appointments, individualized treatment plans, and a provider whose decisions are driven by your labs and your goals — not by what a coverage policy will or won't approve.
Your insurance still has a role. While visits and in-clinic treatments are cash-pay, most major insurance is accepted for lab work and prescriptions, which are ordered through your local lab and pharmacy. And for treatment plans you'd rather spread out, financing is available through Cherry for qualified patients.
Insurance reimbursement rewards short, high-volume visits and lets coverage rules shape your care. A direct relationship removes the middleman — so the plan is built around your biology, not a billing code.
Your initial visit will consist of a full 1-hour appointment with the provider. Our focus is on spending quality time understanding your health concerns, often addressing multiple concerns in a single appointment, time permitting.
Without the constraints of insurance-driven volume, we can offer same-day or next-day appointments, ensuring you receive timely care without long waits.
Our commitment doesn't end after the initial visit. We provide ongoing support and follow up to ensure you get the care you need — dedicated to continuing care beyond the treatment phase.
For our hormone therapy plans, most follow-up appointments can be handled via telehealth after the initial consultation, minimizing the need for repeated office visits.
There are no unexpected bills or confusing charges. Our pricing is clear and predictable because we don't work within the complex insurance billing structure.
Our goal is to address as many of your health concerns as possible in a single appointment — unlike the insurance model, where multiple visits may be required. We understand your time is valuable, and we provide care that respects that.
